Lisa retired from the NC Public Schools after working as a high school counselor for 22 years. She graduated from Appalachian State University and has postgraduate degrees in both Family Support Studies and Educational Leadership. Medicare choices can be confusing. Educating clients about their options is a passion of hers and she enjoys meeting new people. She has been married almost 30 years to her husband James and they have one son, Brandon. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, kayaking, and hiking. This year, she completed the 52 hike challenge and also visited Pikes Peak and Glacier National Park.
